A Taipei practice for evidence, not opinions
We help finance teams present what they already know—so external reviewers spend less time hunting files and more time testing what matters.
Origin
Built from fieldwork friction
Cloud Optima began after years of watching capable Taipei controllers lose the first week of audit to missing confirmations, unsigned schedules, and folders named after whoever left the company. The work was never mysterious—it was unfinished housekeeping under deadline.
We formed a small practice that does one thing carefully: audit evidence management aimed at external review readiness. We do not issue assurance reports. We prepare the package your external reviewers will open on day one.
How we work with clients
Engagements start with a scoping call covering entities, frameworks, and known open points from the prior management letter. We then work inside your document environment—on site in Taipei when binders still live in cabinets, or through secured remote access when packs are digital.
Our practitioners come from accounting and internal-review backgrounds familiar with IFRS and local statutory closes common among Taiwan subsidiaries of overseas parents. Credentials are engagement-specific and confirmed in the engagement letter; we do not advertise blanket certifications we cannot stand behind for every assignment.
Values that show up in the binder
- Traceability over volume — fewer redundant PDFs, clearer links to assertions.
- Honesty about gaps — missing evidence is logged early, not hidden until fieldwork.
- Respect for process owners — walkthrough prep uses real transactions, not jargon.
- Independence awareness — we step aside when a conflict with your external auditor would arise.
