Terms of engagement

These terms govern access to the Cloud Optima website at cloudoptima.digital and, where applicable, the professional services described on this site. By using the site or instructing us to begin an engagement, you accept these terms.

Acceptance

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site or submit an engagement request. Specific engagements are also governed by a written engagement letter that prevails over this page if there is a conflict.

Services described

Cloud Optima provides audit evidence management and preparation support for external review readiness. We do not perform statutory audits, issue assurance opinions, or act as your external auditor. Information on this site is general and does not constitute accounting, legal, or assurance advice for your specific circumstances.

Intellectual property

Site content, including text, layout, and graphics created by Cloud Optima, remains our intellectual property. You may not reproduce it for commercial use without written permission. Working papers and indexes we prepare under an engagement are licensed to you as stated in the engagement letter; our methodologies and templates remain ours unless otherwise agreed.

User responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when contacting us, to maintain the confidentiality of any credentials used to share documents, and not to misuse the site (including attempts to disrupt its operation or scrape content at scale).

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Taiwan, Cloud Optima is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. For paid engagements, liability is limited as set out in the engagement letter, typically to fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including fraud or wilful misconduct).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Courts in Taipei shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from website use, subject to any dispute resolution clause in an engagement letter.
